Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced on 26 October that it has signed agreements with Brigade Group for two new Hyatt Regency hotels in Bengaluru, together offering about 600 guestrooms and suites. The release did not give opening dates for either property.

The Two Hotels

Hyatt Regency Bengaluru at Brigade Global Park is planned for Brigade’s 25-acre Global Park, which the release describes as an integrated advanced engineering and business ecosystem. It is expected to have about 350 guestrooms and suites and about 25,000 square feet of meeting space. Hyatt said the agreement was signed with Brigade Estates and Projects Private Limited, a Brigade Group entity.

The second hotel, Hyatt Regency Bengaluru on Whitefield-Kadugodi Road, is planned for Brigade’s upcoming integrated township on that road. It is expected to have about 250 guestrooms and suites, a ballroom of more than 10,000 square feet, a large pre-function area and additional meeting spaces. That agreement was signed with Ananthay Properties Private Limited, also a Brigade Group entity.

What Hyatt Says to Expect

For both hotels, Hyatt said guests can expect a range of amenities, including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a grab-and-go offering, fitness facilities and flexible event spaces.

Vikas Chawla, president of India and Southwest Asia at Hyatt, said Bengaluru “continues to demonstrate strong demand across business travel, meetings and events”. Nirupa Shankar, joint managing director of Brigade Group, said hospitality has always been an integral part of the group’s landmark projects. In the release, Hyatt said its portfolio included more than 1,500 hotels and all-inclusive properties in 83 countries as of 30 June 2026.

Why It Matters

In our view, the announcement is a signing rather than an opening, so the hotels’ timelines and final specifications remain to be confirmed by the companies. Both are planned inside larger developments, which ties their prospects to how those projects progress. The emphasis on meeting space, including a ballroom and about 25,000 square feet at the first hotel, shows the kind of business and events demand Hyatt says it is targeting in the city.
