Contribute

Impact Legacy welcomes pitches from experienced writers, columnists and subject-matter experts across governance, business, diplomacy, hospitality, lifestyle, sport, youth, technology and global affairs.

Who we publish

We publish leaders and specialists with real experience: executives, directors, founders, diplomats, academics, practitioners and thoughtful commentators. Our contributors write with authority and a point of view, and they leave readers with something they can use.

Two ways to contribute

  • Contributor — submit a one-time article, interview, insight or perspective.
  • Columnist — contribute regularly to Impact Legacy on a theme you know well, under a column name you propose.

What makes a strong pitch

  • A clear idea in a few sentences: what you want to say, and why it matters to our readers now.
  • Original work that draws on your own experience or expertise. If it has appeared elsewhere, tell us where.
  • Evidence and sources for any facts, figures or research you rely on.
  • A short professional biography, a professional headshot and your LinkedIn profile.

How it works

Our editorial team reads every pitch. If it is a fit, we will get in touch to agree the angle, length and timing. Accepted pieces are edited for clarity, accuracy and house style, and we will work through the edit with you before publication. We cannot publish every pitch and may not be able to reply to each one individually. Please do not send finished work before we have agreed to it.

Contributors keep ownership of their work and give Impact Legacy permission to publish it in the magazine, on this website, in our newsletter and on our social channels. Full details are in our Contributor Guidelines and Terms of Use.
