Leadership is not measured by the position you hold, but by the opportunities you create the lives you uplift, and the legacy you leave behind.
You’ve held senior roles at TikTok, Meta, Bloomberg and Huawei before founding Be Glow Consultancy. What shaped that path?
My leadership journey began with a simple belief: organizations thrive when people are empowered to grow. Over the past three decades, I have progressed from leading operations to advising boards, multinational corporations, startups, and higher educational institutions on transformation, governance, workforce strategy, and innovation. I have led cross-border teams, established global shared service centers, and delivered complex transformation programs across more than 100 countries. Founding Be Glow Consultancy enabled me to extend this impact by helping organizations navigate change while mentoring emerging leaders. Today, my mission is to bridge corporate governance, AI innovation, operational excellence, and human potential to build resilient organizations and inspire leaders who will shape a more sustainable and inclusive future.
Across three decades and more than 100 countries, what impact stands out most to you?
Throughout my career, I have focused on creating impact that extends far beyond business results. I have transformed global and regional operations, strengthened governance, enhanced compliance, and developed workforce capabilities while delivering measurable operational excellence. Equally important has been investing in people. I actively mentor professionals, support women in leadership, advise AI startups, and collaborate with universities and higher education institutions to develop future-ready talent. One of the most rewarding aspects of my journey is seeing the global and regional transformation initiatives, operating models, and leadership capabilities I helped build continue to create value long after my direct involvement. That enduring legacy is reflected in stronger organizations, more confident leaders, and individuals who continue creating positive impact for others.
What do you consider your defining achievement so far?
One of my greatest achievements has been leading global transformation initiatives that integrated people, technology, governance, and operational excellence across multinational organizations. Beyond delivering business outcomes, I am equally proud of helping shape future leaders through mentoring, executive coaching, and board advisory. Receiving international recognition, including the Women Economic Forum ASEAN Exceptional Women of Excellence Award, while contributing to corporate governance through MINED and supporting AI-driven innovation has reinforced my belief that leadership is measured by the value we create for others. Success is not defined by titles or awards but by the organizations strengthened, the leaders developed, and the lasting legacy we leave behind.
What sets your leadership style apart in the governance and advisory space?
My leadership is built on the belief that sustainable success comes from balancing business excellence with human potential. Having led transformation across multinational corporations, startups, academia, and advisory boards, I bring a unique combination of global business experience, corporate governance, financial stewardship, AI innovation, and people leadership. I strive to connect strategy with execution while creating environments where individuals and organizations can thrive together. Beyond business achievements, I am deeply committed to mentoring future leaders, advancing women in leadership, and promoting responsible governance. I believe leadership should leave organizations stronger, communities more empowered, and future generations better prepared to navigate an ever-changing world.
What’s your advice for the next generation of women leaders?
Lead with courage, humility, and integrity. Believe in your capabilities before asking others to believe in you and never allow self-doubt to define your potential. Continue learning because knowledge builds confidence, credibility, and resilience. Build meaningful relationships based on trust rather than titles and remember that leadership is about enabling others to succeed. Embrace innovation, remain adaptable, and never lose sight of your values. Most importantly, measure success not only by what you achieve personally but by how many people you inspire, empower, and help succeed throughout your journey.
