Founder, Sovereign Reset™, House of Astrid Vanackere · Belgium

Astrid Vanackere is the founder of House of Astrid Vanackere and creator of Sovereign Reset™; an 8-week private container for high-achieving women ready to stop living a life built for approval and claim the one that was always theirs. A certified Rapid Transformational Therapist® with over a decade of experience in international and humanitarian response across Europe and West and Central Africa, Astrid brings a rare combination of systemic intelligence, cross-cultural depth, and subconscious healing expertise to her work. She guides high-achieving women to become the true authors of their own lives, not a version shaped by external expectations. She understands what it costs women to perform in environments that were never built to hold their full power, because she lived it. Her work sits at the intersection of identity, subconscious reprogramming, and sovereign leadership. She works globally with women who are done proving and ready to move from certainty.

If your identity is built around your wounds, you will keep recreating circumstances that match them. Clear the wounds and your identity will build around your sovereign self, and your circumstances will start to align to that.

You’ve spoken about your body ‘sending the invoice’ after years of overworking. What did that turning point teach you about leadership?

My journey began in the social/ government sector and later the humanitarian sector, managing programmes across West and Central Africa for organisations including NRC and IRC. I led teams under pressure, navigated donor systems, and delivered in environments where stopping was never an option. I was good at it. And I was quietly disappearing inside my own life. I had learned early that my value lived in how much I could carry, that being needed was safer than being seen. My body eventually sent the invoice of chronic stress through thyroid failure. That breaking point led me to subconscious healing work, and to a sovereign decision I made before I had a plan: to stop being the victim of my circumstances. That decision changed everything. Today I lead differently, from certainty rather than survival, and I help other women make that same shift, permanently, at the root.

What impact are you proudest of through your work with high-achieving women?

The most meaningful impact I create is the moment a woman stops waiting for external permission to become who she already is. Through Sovereign Reset™ and my broader work, I help high-achieving women clear the subconscious patterns that kept them performing, over-functioning, and surviving, and install a new identity that moves from certainty rather than fear. My humanitarian background gives me a perspective most practitioners don’t have: I understand power dynamics at a systemic level, cultural nuance, and what it means to operate in high-pressure environments where emotional intelligence is required but self-expression is often punished. The women I work with leave not just feeling better, they make decisions differently, set boundaries without guilt, and stop ending up in the same dynamics. They become women the environment has no choice but to reorganise around.

What’s the achievement that means most to you?

My biggest achievement is the sovereign decision I made before I had a plan. When I chose to stop the medication, pivot the career I had built , and commit to a path that made no logical sense to anyone around me, that was the moment everything changed. Not because it was easy. Because it was true. Starting House of Astrid Vanackere and creating a container that takes women to the root of why they keep shrinking, over-proving, and tolerating and then watching women walk out of it moving from certainty for the first time, that is the achievement I am most proud of. It is proof that the work works. And it is the foundation of a larger vision: Sovereign Rising, a movement and eventually a physical ecosystem where women amplify each other through their individual gifts.

What makes your approach distinct?

What makes my work unique is the combination of things I carry that cannot be replicated. A decade navigating government and humanitarian systems across cultures and power structures, watching institutions perform care while practising superiority, gave me an understanding of systemic dynamics most practitioners simply don’t have. My own journey as a Belgian Muslim convert who broke every expected mould just by existing gives me credibility with women who feel “uncategorisable.” And my methodology, combining RTT, subconscious reprogramming, LightForce work and Islamic and Buddhist philosophy, goes deeper than most approaches dare to go. I don’t help women manage their patterns. I help them clear them permanently at the root, so the environment they return to has no choice but to shift into the life they want. So it’s about transformation rather than just coaching.

What advice would you give future women leaders?

Stop waiting for the environment to be ready for you. The permission you are waiting for is never coming from outside, it was never for others to give. The most powerful shift I see in the women I work with is when they realise that the life they have been building was constructed for someone else’s approval, and that they have outgrown it completely. That realisation is confronting and exhilarating at the same time, because suddenly it is in your hands. True leadership is not about being the strongest person in the room. It is about being the most sovereign, so grounded in who you are that the room has no choice but to reorganise around you. Do the inner work. Not as a luxury. As a foundation. Because everything you build externally will only ever reflect the coherence underneath it.
